About Gaia Rose

Gaia was born with a head full of hair.

As an infant, she worked as a taste tester of organic baby snacks at her parents health food store.

As a toddler, she became a young gardener by taking classes at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. She developed her art and music skill by participating in Run, Wiggle, Paint and Giggle classes at Kidville.

Gaia enjoyed creative movement classes at Mark Morris Dance School from ages 2-4.  At age 5, she studied Russian Ballet and at 6, she returned to Mark Morris to continue her Ballet training.

Gaia likes S.T.E.M.

Gaia was honored at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden in 2013 for participating in programs for 3 consecutive years.

Gaia earned a merit based scholarship to attend Maria Mitchell Discovery Camp in Nantucket, MA. In the summer of 2014 by submitting her kindergarten report card.

Gaia won 1st place in the 2014 New York State pickle drawing competition.

Most recently,  Gaia won a merit based scholarship to attend a STEM MATTERS detective camp during the 2015 Spring Break.  She wrote an essay, submitted a teacher recommendation and her report card.

Gaia enjoys reading books about friendship, remedial coding, playing mine craft and taking soccer class with her brother, Schuyler.

She is looking forward to summer vacation!  She will attend Ocean, Art and Adventure camp with the  Maria Mitchell Discovery Camp and spend time with her grandma and grandpa on her favorite island, Nantucket, MA.

She will end her summer learning about animals at the Prospect Park Zoo camp.
